Ownership and Ongoing Costs

What is a permanent digital asset?

A permanent digital asset is a digital product provided with an ongoing right to use the purchased version under its license terms.

For qualifying standalone software, this means you can download and use the product locally without a recurring subscription or mandatory account connection.

You retain access to your purchased version, subject to its stated system requirements and compatibility.

Does purchasing a digital product mean I own its source code?

Purchasing a digital product grants you the usage rights specified in its license. Source code and intellectual property developed and owned by Drive Digital Traffic remain the property of Drive Digital Traffic unless explicitly transferred in writing.

For custom software projects, ownership, licensing, and source-code delivery are established in the project agreement.

Are there recurring subscription fees?

Our standalone digital products are designed around one-time purchases whenever practical.

Some custom projects may require third-party hosting, cloud storage, software licenses, or other infrastructure. Any known recurring requirements will be identified during project planning.

Will my digital product receive updates forever?

A perpetual license allows continued use of the purchased version under its terms.

Future feature releases, operating-system compatibility updates, technical assistance, and major new versions may be offered separately.

We do not guarantee compatibility with future operating systems, devices, or third-party software.

Do you provide ongoing maintenance or technical support?

Our standard engagements are structured around defined deliverables and completion of the agreed project.

Any included testing, defect corrections, delivery assistance, and acceptance arrangements will be documented in your agreement.

Additional features, maintenance, future compatibility work, or other services may be considered under a separate agreement, subject to availability.
